Mumbai: The City of Dreams Has Something for Everyone

A lot known, very little felt.

Mumbai - a much talked about city where people come and go to live their dreams. Some have the time of their life while others dread the fast-paced life that the city has to offer. It's not all glitter and gold for Mumbaikar themselves, but it also isn't that bad after all.
Here's how Mumbai is a little cliche and a lot more love:

Locals over metros

With the ever-growing development of this city, Mumbai sure has worked out its way to make daily commutes easy for the huge population here. Metros have become a new thing, but many still prefer taking the locals, the fastest of all the public transports and also cheaper than the metros. Of course, there are people who choose the luxury and hit the road as well. But the people who've got no time and want to spend less surely prefer the trains.

Foodie's corner

Mumbai is known for its restaurants and cafes which serve the best food you can eat. Pick a cuisine and we have it. But people who can't afford the luxury of this city don't have to fear. We've a variety of street-food in every possible nook and corner. So worry not, Mumbai will never let you sleep on an empty stomach.

Mumbai's monsoon

Now, there always will be people who complain about the Mumbai rains, sometimes, the city is flooded as well. But come on, if you look at the season on the other days, it's not all that bad. The rain is beautiful here. Even on days when people crib about the season, the rain is sure to make them stop and look for a while.

The hardworking class

Everybody's got dreams, and this city has something for every class to survive. There's no time to stop the routine. Each one has their own thing to do in the city of dreams. But we've also got time to chill in ways which don't have to be costly. Simplicity oozes out of this place and you'll find it if you look around.

The riches and the rags

Mumbai's got people with big spaces, have a luxurious lifestyle, and all that jazz. It's also got people having the tiniest of houses to live in, but with a heart of gold. Nothing, absolutely nothing is perfect here, but again, it's not all that flawed as well.
Mumbai is sure going to be an overdone topic, but it'll always have a perception different from the other cities.
